Education Programs
The Central Goldfields Art Gallery offers education programs for kindergarten, school children and community groups.
The programs are linked to the Victorian Government Early Year’s Development and Education Framework for kindergarten children and our school based program is linked to school curriculum.
Public Programs
Public programs, including artist talks, are also offered throughout the year.
Guided tours are welcome. Please contact the Gallery if you would like a tour outside of opening hours.

NGV Kids on Tour school holiday program
Little Warriors Yoga
10.30AM – 11.30AM:
FAMILY MEDITATION WITH LITTLE WARRIORS YOGA
● A guided yoga and meditation session to reflect, relax and explore the calming effect of nature
● Followed by hands-on art activities
Free healthy snack provided.
All children to be accompanied by a parent/carer.
(yoga and dance party activities are streamed)

2.30PM – 3.30PM:
DIGITAL DANCE PARTY WITH BODY ELECTRIC!
● Get active, learn some new moves and feel the positivity in a digital dance party for children and families, hosted by Melbourne dance icons, Body Electric Dance Studios.
● Followed by hands-on art activities
Free healthy snack provided.
All children to be accompanied by a parent/carer.
