Looking for something to do this summer? We’ve got you covered! Join us for a mix of face to face and virtual events for a summer school holidays like no other.

Face to Face Activities:

Chill Out Space at Maryborough!

Monday 11 January, 11am- 3pm

Where: Maryborough Town Hall

Want somewhere to hang with your mates? Love free snow cones?

We’re teaming up with the Kit Van to bring you the ultimate hang out space! There will be a t-shirt design competition, freebies and music pumping the coolest jams. Bring your mates along to hang out at the chill out space!

Makers Session: D.I.Y Lava Lamps! 

Thursday 14 January, 11am- 1pm

Where: Market Reserve, Carisbrook

Join us for a D.I.Y session on making your own lava lamps and other science experiments. Make sure you B.Y.O your own jar and lunch!

Learn Filmmaking!

We’re running a session with Cinespace on how to create films using your smartphone and tips on how to create content for your social media.

National Gallery Victoria KIDS ON TOUR Art is for everyone and the National Gallery Victoria (NGV) free Summer Holiday Program for Kids and Families will return to Central Goldfields Art Gallery in January 2021.

Drop into Central Goldfields Art Gallery anytime during the summer holidays and enjoy free activity books, artist activity templates and activities for teens.

10.30 to 11.30am - Little Warriors Yoga Join a live streamed family meditation with the Little Warriors Yoga.

2.30 to 3.30pm - Dance party!

Get active, learn some new moves and feel the positivity in a digital dance party for children and families. These programs are for primary school aged children and their carers. All children to be accompanied by their parents or carers. Programs are free.

Maryborough Regional Library

The Maryborough Regional Library is hosting weekly Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics (STEAM) sessions throughout January. Sessions are recommended for children aged between eight and 14 years and are free to attend.

Sessions are:

  • Wednesday 13 January, 2.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Tuesday 19 January, 2.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Monday 25 January 2.30pm to 3.30pm
