Maryborough Aerodrome

Love to fly? Then make sure you use the Maryborough Aerodrome and stop by to visit the centre of Victoria’s goldfields.

The Maryborough Aerodrome is registered under Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) Subpart 139.C Registered aerodromes – and is managed, operated and maintained by the Central Goldfields Shire Council.

The Maryborough Aerodrome is used by the community for:

  • Agri business - crop dusting etc
  • Air ambulance - helipad or fixed wing
  • DELWP - fire control and backburning
  • Powercor - helicopter powerline inspections
  • Tourist flights
  • Chartered flights - visitors
  • Recreational flying
  • Local business - Fly in / fly out
  • Minor flight school use
  • Events – eg. Wings & Wheels

Casual users don’t get charged to use its sealed runway and taxiway and gravel runway and taxiway and a small terminal building is available to all users of the airport.

Council encourages pilots, their passengers and aero clubs to land at the aerodrome and enjoy the local area.
