INFRASTRUCTURE UPDATES

Mowing update
As one of the wettest years on record in Victoria, the saturated ground conditions have made it difficult for Council to keep on top of growth along our roadsides and reserves.

For Council to manage the growth along our roadsides and reserves, over the coming weeks we’ll be using internal and external contractor crews.

The good news is that our roadside slashing program has commenced in Carisbrook this week.

They will do the main roads heading north before moving to all areas in a southerly direction.

We’ll provide regular updates as crews move across our Shire.

ENGAGEMENT WRAP UP

Thank you to those who attended the Public Information Session for the Maryborough Heritage Review on Thursday 10 November and provided input for the project consultant.

Council has received several Expressions of Interest for the Reference Group for this project. Applicants will be notified soon and this group will commence work in the near future.

There are still some vacancies on the group, so Expressions of Interest in joining the Reference Group will be considered for an extended period, visit www.engage.cgoldshire.vic.gov.au/maryboroughheritagereview

If you are interested in the project but don’t wish to join the Reference Group, please keep an eye on the project webpage, where there will be other options for providing input throughout the course of the project.
