Community Satisfaction Survey

We’ve shifted from annual to quarterly telephone interviews for the Community Satisfaction Survey.

This means National Field Services will conduct 100 calls per quarter of the coming year.

The second quarter calls will begin on September 1 until 30 September so your household might receive a call to ask you a range of questions about the different services Council provides.

The information you provide will help us to identify ways to provide improved or more effective service delivery to our residents.

Your details and individual responses are confidential, and we appreciate your valuable feedback.

Results will still be reported once per year as normal.

This Girl Can

In partnership with VicHealth and Sports Focus, we’re gearing up to celebrate ‘This Girl Can’ Week 2022.

The campaign aims to inspire women and girls to get active, however and whenever they choose – without being judged.

We’re calling on community members to nominate clubs, groups and individuals who are breaking down the barriers and getting active.

We’ll then profile them and their work as part of ‘This Girl Can’ Week between September 12 and 18.

Expand your Impact

We have partnered with Make a Change Australia, to bring the Expand Your Impact program to the Central Goldfields Shire.

It’s FREE and all residents, businesses and organisations are invited to benefit.

Expand Your Impact is a collaborative initiative designed to encourage you to think a little differently and grow success in any area of life. Your participation can be via subscribing to receive resources; attending the online workshops; joining a supportive network or all of these great opportunities rolled into one.

RATE NOTICES

Central Goldfields Shire property owners will have or should expect to soon receive their 2022-2023 rate notice in the mail or by email.

There are two payment options available:

• Pay in full by 15 February 2023
• Pay in 4 instalments with the first instalment due by 30 September 2022

TALBOT NEWS

Talbot immunisation sessions

Council’s immunisation team will host monthly immunisation sessions in Talbot from September through to December.

The sessions are free for all vaccinations on the National Immunisation Programs, and for all ages. Our sessions are to focus on reaching those who may not travel regularly into Maryborough and to ensure vaccinations are readily available for everyone.
