Container Deposit Scheme  

Is a scheme run by the State Government to provide a 10c refund for every eligible can, carton and bottle returned (No crushing!).

VISY is the Network Operator for Central Goldfields region (North Zone).

In Central Goldfields, selected services provide the local deposit services on behalf of the network operator Visy:

�� Asteria Services: 64-68 Nelson Street, Maryborough
Weekdays - 8am to 3pm
Saturday - 8am to 4pm
(Closed for lunch 12pm-12.45pm)

Monday - Closed
Tuesday - Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm (closed for lunch 12.15pm to 12.45.pm)

The State Government launched the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) on the 1st of November 2023.
